This Privacy Policy describes how Pinecrest Way Holdings LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our software applications that integrate with Square Payment infrastructure (collectively, the "App").
1. Information We Collect
Because the App integrates directly with your Square Merchant account via platform APIs, we access and process data on your behalf. We collect:
- Account Credentials & Identifiers: Merchant names, business names, physical addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, and Square merchant IDs.
- Transactional & Core POS Data: Square catalog data, item descriptions, pricing configurations, inventory levels, order data, and basic transaction summaries required to apply cash-discount or marked-up pricing adjustments.
- Billing Information: Credit card details or bank account information processed securely through our third-party billing providers (Stripe or Square). We do not store raw card numbers on our servers.
2. How We Use Information
We use the collected data strictly to fulfill our product function, including:
- Automating cash-discount or marked-up pricing catalog adjustments within your Square POS.
- Managing your application subscription, processing payments, and executing the 10-day failed-payment grace period workflow.
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting API connectivity issues.
3. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your operational business data or customer data to third parties. Data is shared only with trusted service providers necessary to run the App:
- Platform Infrastructures: Square, Inc. (for POS API synchronization) and Stripe, Inc. (for direct subscription billing).
- Legal Compliance: We may disclose data if required to do so by applicable law, card-network operating rules, or a valid legal subpoena.
4. State Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA Compliance)
If you operate your business in California or serve California residents:
- No Sale of Data: We confirm we do not "sell" or "share" personal information or consumer transaction records for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Data Minimization: We restrict our access to the minimum Square API scopes necessary to execute catalog and keypad pricing adjustments.
- Access & Deletion: You may request access to or deletion of any app-side cached configurations by contacting our support channel.
5. Security & Retention
We employ industry-standard technical and organizational measures to safeguard data flowing through our systems. App-side cached pricing configurations are retained for a maximum of 30 days following subscription cancellation to facilitate smooth account reinstatement, after which they are permanently deleted.
